The Herd started with one polo pony who got injured and lost her sight in her right eye whilst grazing in the field; now there are seven beautiful polo ponies

The mission of The Herd is to provide a 'Forever Home' for injured, rescued and retired polo ponies

There are times when a pony just does not like or is not suitable for polo; these are welcome at The Herd too
