You know when The Herd gallops to your call that they are very happy with life; "we're coming; on our way" whoo hoo, grubs up!!
Breakfast is served from 6:30 - 7:30 where they are served a mixture of shandy and cool cubes (less cool cubes because they have molasses in them); after breakfast they are released back into the field and taken in one by one for their daily grooming which usually finishes around 9:30
The Herd spend most of their day grazing in the lush fields which has a natural 'dam' on it; they share this with ducks and Egyptian Geese.
It is here where you shall find them splashing and rolling around on hot summer days

Supper is served at 17:30 in the summer and earlier in the winter; they are fed a mixture of maintenance pellets and crushed oats; after which they are returned to the paddock where they have a section of lucerne and teff for the night (bales are divided into several sections and each pony gets one section of each)
Ponies play 'musical-stacks' where they move from one ponies stack to another until it is all gone
Feeding and grooming is one of the most important times of the day, not just to nourish the ponies but to watch their behaviour and check that they are eating well and inspect their body for any injuries or cuts which they sometimes get in the fields when they brush up against the gum-post fencing or similar
